Hi,
I'm Laura and I lost my Yellow Lab to cancer 2 Years age I have 3 adopted girls 2 meium 10 years old. 1 Golden Mix 7 year old. I have filled out an application and need a house check. My husband and I have a 1/4 acre lot with a 5 foot fence inthe back with a doggie door and 4 ft fence inthe front so the lawn mower can get around. I would never give away my dogs they are my children . When my Lab had gone to the vet over and over when she started to not want to go for a walk or run with the bike, the vets kept telleing me it was old age but I knew my Angel and when she lost weight we took her to get an ultra sound. ( I wish someone had told us sooner)So all the blood work and x-rays in the world is BS by the time we found the cancer it was untreatable and after almost 2 more weeks we could not sleep and let her suffer. She let us know it was time when she went to the bathroom on the basement floor and her squinting eyes in pain. I still cannot stop crying. I can never replace her but will honor her life by helping out another dog and it doesn't have to be a Lab but I would love my sleeping partner again.I have never not had a least 1 dog. Hikes, pools, car rides whatever he likes he gets if its good for him!
