Benz - ADOPTED!

I am a brownish blk male lab mix puppy and I am 7-8 wks old. I am the largest of the litter - easy to pick on the rest-if you know what I mean. I know where to go potty and love to be held and investigate new things all the time.

This one looks very lab like but Do you know what they might be mixed with? Some look a little pit bullish. I know pit bulls can be good dogs, but I'm scared of the breed, bad experience with someone who one that was not well socialized.

Hi Mixed. We have no idea what the mix is but the mother (snow white) is lab looking and will be on the website soon. I am the foster mom and none of these puppies look like pitties to me. I have been around several pittie puppies and grown dogs and they have rounder heads than these puppies and the bodies are definitely not pittie type. These puppies are very well socialized in my home. We have 3 older dogs and the neighbor's children come over quite often to play with them so no worries on that front. I hope that helps.

Our family adopted Kia - she is amazing and very affectionate! You can only guess with mixes and your veterinarian can give you an opinion. These pups are definitely labs (possibly) crossed with a boxer - also called boxadors As a side note, when we had our home visit an MLRR volunteer noted that they don't accept pit bull mixes, due to their possible aggressiveness. Sometimes it is hard to know with mixed breeds because they could have a multiple breed background (just like people.) Rest assured that any breed mixed with a lab is GREAT!

I am Benz's foster mom and I am not sure why no one is interested in this very smart and playful cute puppy. He comes when you call him or whistle and has the schedule down pat. Benz is very quickly picking up potty training. He would love to be with another dog but will be just fine on his own. He loves to cuddle and would follow you anywhere.

Benz is so cute - is he still available? One question about the grown size....is there any way of knowing approximate adult weight? We would like to visit next week, if possible. We are in Northbrook. Thanks so much!

Silver Family - Benz is still available and we have no way of exactly knowing the weight they will get at full grown - one of Benz's smaller littermates was estimated by his vet to be get around 60lbs and Benz is the largest of the litter - Have you filled out an application?
