Hi my name is Ralphie and if you met me you would fall in love with me instantly, I couldn't be sweeter, so I am told by everyone that meets me. I came to Illinois from Alton, Oklahoma where I was found all alone, I am 1 years old lab/shepherd mix with black and brown in my coat and the most beautiful soft brown eyes, if I don't say so myself. Even with all my travels and stay at the vet to be neutered, I have come through it all very well. When I arrived in Illinois at the vet I did have ear infections but all is good now and the hair I scratched off my ears is starting to fill in. I am going back to the vet for some booster shots this week, other than that, I am felling so good and learning to be a be a puppy now and again, it's really fun and I am putting on some needed weight.

I am told that I have come a long way in just over a weeks' time, I was very timid and initially afraid of anyone that approached me but I love everyone now, we have been working on that. I love people, kids, puppies and dogs, the cats on the other hand make me want to chase them, not sure what they are and they move very fast, why wouldn't you want to chase them. Even though my Foster Mom doesn't think that I spent any time in the house because I seemed very surprised by daily life in the house my first few days. The stereo and TV were quite the amusement for me and the water running in the sinks caught my eye too and wow, flush a toilet, this is all so amazing. But I am house broken and have only had one accident but that was not my fault, she took too much time getting her shoes on. Ok, and one night I did eat a few plants but now I am ok with sleeping in my crate at night, I won't cry or make noise, not my favorite place but I am ok with it. I still don't like to be alone too much, but getting better.

I don't act so much like a normal puppy, I am pretty mellow, but you can tell I have puppy in me still. I do like to try and chew on wood once in a while but when told no, I go back to my rawhides, I really love those. I love being outside, playing ball, playing with my toys, taking daily hikes, and car rides are the greatest. I will be a perfect dog with a little bit of training. If I get in trouble for doing something that I shouldn't have, I haven't done it again... well so far, so good. I really want to please, so come see me and fall in love with me.

I think Ralphie is adorable but I don't know how my 3 other older dogs are gonna do if he's too timid . They still like to play rough or ruff! How much deos Ralphie weigh.
