My name is Jones and I am 1 year old and full of life. I know it is hard to tell from this picture but my teeth are so white that I may be accused of using a whitener. I weigh about 55 lbs so I am light on my feet and a very happy boy. I love walks with 10 year old Misty, who lives here and the neighbors’ one year old yellow lab. We all get along so well. It’s too bad my cat foster brothers, Charlie and Jack can’t come on our walks. They don’t bother me at all except when they get too close to my chewing bones. I love the backyard. I have been a very quiet guest here except when left alone. I get a little upset and whimper and bark but I eventually settle down. I have been lucky that I have not had to stay in a cage since the first night here. I stay in the kitchen with doggy gates and have no interest in other parts of the house while I am in there. There are no kids here but the ones I have met on my walks are not a problem. I am happy to meet them. Jones is a very special black lab mix who would love to find his forever family, but he has been hit with some tough news. Jones needs surgery on both of his hips, specifically called a femoral head excision. His surgery will cost approximately $2,400 - $2,600 per hip. Can you help us help Jones?
