My name is Boomer, and I'm told I'm very handsome. I'm a chocolate Labrador Retriever and I am very happy, in fact so happy that my tail is always wagging, which makes my name Boomer even more appropriate. I'm told I'm about five years old, but I'm also told I look a lot younger.
I love to be around people and am very affectionate. I'm not really so much of an outdoor dog, but do like to run in the yard in the morning and evening, and I like to go for a walk around the neighborhood to meet new people.
I love children and can sit quietly and watch them play or join in if they want me to.
My owner has unfortunately developed an allergy to dogs and is very upset at having to find me a new home. He is looking for a very loving family for me to make my new home with. My owner has also spent a lot of time making my coat look really nice since he rescued me, so now I look really healthy and happy!
I would love to meet a new family that would like such a friendly Labrador to become part of their home.
