Bentley & Roman - Adopted!

Hi Everyone, our names are Bentley and Roman and we are literally the most handsome brothers you've ever laid eyes on!
Just try to tell us any different! We are almost three years old and as loving as can be. We love to romp around in a yard, from galloping around, rolling in the grass and/or mud, even playing fetch! Inside we settle down pretty well, just give us some time. Once we relax we just want some petting and something good to chew on. We need some work in the leash training department but we are willing to please. We get along with all other dogs, big and small! Children are great too, especially if they want to play! We are big, but we try to be mindful of our size. Since we have been together all our lives, we really don't want to be apart, so we are looking for one family to take us both in! Come meet us soon, lots of love from the Blonde Brothers!

Hi - We just had our visit and our paperwork was submitted yesterday. Can I get some more info on these cuties? We are a family of 4 in woodstock - would love to meet them -

Hi Jen,

What would you like to know? They are an owner surrender, and we just recently got them.
Bentley is 90lbs and Roman is 95lbs. They stick together, though Bentley is more lovey than Roman. Bentley is a bit of a clown too, and not as interested in playing fetch as Roman. They are STRONG dogs. Right now we have them on regular collars, and it is a bit too much to handle, so we are going try a pinch or halter.

They know some commands, but I would recommend a refresher course when they get adopted to help with bonding as well as so you can know how to work with them.

Well we have small kids - they are only 1.5 and 3.5 yrs old. Im not a fraid of having 2 dogs :) if they are good with kids - etc - I'm a stay at home mom. Our number one priority is temperament - we are looking for happy go lucky. Don't know if they'd be too much.

They are definitely happy go lucky! But they are a handful, I saw on your application that you want to be able to walk them on trails near your home.
Right now they can't be walked by one person together, but like I said we are going to try a pinch and see if that helps.

I will let the placement coordinator know of your interest.

Thanks Sturm family - I've noted your interest and you should be hearing from their foster mom soon if you haven't already!

We would possibly be interested in Bentley and Roman if they are still available. We eventually want to get 2 labs, but it would be nice to have 2 that already get along well. They are the exact kind of lab we are looking for, esp in size.

Thanks,
Ashley and Mike Carter
