Hi there! I am a 4yr old purebred black Lab boy that was saved on the day I was to be put to sleep. I am such a good, happy guy that I am not sure why no one wanted me. I am very nicely mannered with all dogs and humans of any age. I need to loose a little weight since I currently weigh almost 100lbs, but they tell me I have a thyroid problem. The vet is getting that under control. I also have a skin issue that is getting better also. I am housebroken, know sit, etc. I don't mind the crate either when my foster mom leaves. I hear the only thing I need work on is my walking on leash - I tend to pull a bit. I love to play outside, but in the house I am very calm. I love to play fetch and would make a great family dog for anyone and everyone. Will it be you?

ANY IDEA HOW FLINT WOULD BE WITH A ONE CAT HOUSEHOLD? WE HAVE NO SMALL KIDS AT HOME. FLINT WOULD HAVE TO GO FOR WALKS SINCE OUR YARD IS NOT FENCED IN. WOULD HE BE OKAY WITH THAT? IS OKAY HOME ALONE WITHOUT BEING CRATED? ANY ANXIETY OR OTHER APPARENT ISSUES? wE ARE APPROVED.THANKS :D . BARB WERNER

The foster home that Flint is living in does not have any cats so it is hard to tell what he would do when he actually met one.
I will ask the foster mom and see what she thinks.

Hi Bwerner, I am Flint's foster mom and he is fine being alone and not needing a crate. He apparently has already been trained to sit, stay, etc. He is an exceptional dog and very mild mannered. He really only goes out to do his business or play a bit with the other dogs and will come right back to the house to come back inside. He loves walks but still is a tad of a puller. I can't say for sure how he would do with cats but since he is well trained I really don't think you would have an issue - he doesn't jump over gates if you had a "cat" room. I hope that helps.
