Hi there, I’m Bubba. I’m a handsome 2-year old chocolate male lab weighing in at svelte 91 pounds (no blubber on this Bubba!). I’m a big boy, and my foster mommy calls me a gentle giant. She says my huge heart and sweet personality match my size perfectly. Nobody knows too much about my past, but I came all the way from Missouri to find my forever family. So far everyone who has met me just adores me!! I get along great with my 6 year-old foster sister, and I even let her boss me around. Mom says it’s a good thing I’m so gentle and laid-back because of my size. We go on long walks and she says I’m a good boy because I don’t pull at all (well, except for the one time I saw a squirrel and got really excited—but I totally understand the word NO now!). If I had a previous owner, they didn’t teach me much, because I’m just starting to learn my commands. We’re working on Sit and Stay and Come and Down. Whew!!! That’s a lot to learn, but mom says I’m smart and, like a typical Lab, eager to please. I’m totally potty trained, haven’t had an accident at all! I did great at the vet’s yesterday, all the dogs and all the people loved me. I love riding in the car, playing with other dogs, and most of all cuddling and giving kisses. I’m looking for a forever family who will give me the attention, exercise and love I deserve. In return I will warm your feet, cuddle in your lap, and capture your heart forever.
