Smokey was in rescue last summer and because he was still transitioning he did not "show" well. We adopted him last August. Rocky is a great dog for his age...very mellow. It will probably take him a couple of days to adjust to a new household but once there I am sure he will be as loving as he is here. As I type this he is lounging on his back with his legs in the air waiting for someone to rub his belly. He is shy when he meets new people but he was like that when he came here.

Thanks for the info. We are interested in meeting Rocky when he's ready, and if you think he would do well as the only dog in our home. I know some labs really need another canine buddy in the home and some don't. Thanks!
