Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue, MLRR, is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned Labrador Retrievers. All rescued Labs are placed in foster homes where they can be evaluated for temperament and level of training before being adopted.

My name is Marcus and I'm pretty much the perfect Lab! I'm a handsome 80lb black male, about 3-4 years old, with the shiniest coat you've ever seen. I'm smart, well-mannered and know my basic commands. I have bursts of enthusiasm and a wiggly butt, and I also know when it's time to chill out. My foster mom says I'm so sweet because I love to give kisses and get belly rubs. I'm very curious when we go on walks and like to investigate all the different smells, but I walk nicely on the leash. I get along great with kids and like to play with other dogs, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure about them. I love to chase squirrels and birds, do you have any of those?
